R.C.I.A.

Sister Mary Lucette Kinecki is a Felician Sister who ministers within the parish as the Pastoral Associate. As the Pastor’s right hand, she works with numerous organizations, coordinates the parish RCIA process, organizes and trains Eucharistic Ministers and Lectors, facilitates scheduling and numerous other behind the scenes tasks that enable a parish to run smoothly. Sister Lucette can be found at the daily Eucharistic liturgy and at each Mass on the weekends making sure all is ready for the heart of our parish community, the Eucharist. She can be easily recognized by her smile and genuine concern from the oldest to the youngest person.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (R.C.I.A.).
It is a special program that the Church established to help lead other people closer to Christ.

Ask yourself:
“Are you …? Someone not affiliated with the Catholic Church, but seeking a loving parish community?
Someone who may be baptized into another faith tradition and is interested in the Catholic faith?
Someone who has been baptized but has not received the Sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation?
Someone who is baptized Catholic but knows a little about the faith and desires to really know what being Catholic is all about?
Someone who lives next door to you or on your street and needs a “little nudge” from you asking: “Have you ever thought about becoming a Catholic?”

If you have answered “YES” to any of the above, the RCIA process is for you. The sessions will take place in Father Cotter Hall. More information will be forthcoming.
