BAKERS NEEDED!
We are planning ahead, and are looking for bakers for our upcoming Parish Garage Sale on Friday, August 1st and Saturday, August 2nd. If you can help us by donating bake goods, please bring them to Father Cotter Hall on the morning of those two days. Call Betty Heigl at 835-2797 or Betty Moran at 836-6120 if you can help.

YEAR OF ST. PAUL
Pope Benedict XVI proclaimed a jubilee year to celebrate the second millennium of the saint’s birth. This Pauline Year will run from June 28th, the vigil of the saint’s feast day with St. Peter, to June 29, 2009. As a Parish we will be entering into the spirit of St. Paul with various activities, scripture sessions, prayers and practical things to do so that his message of conversion and evangelization will come alive for each one of us. Watch your bulletin for upcoming information. In the meantime, let us pray: “Holy Apostle Paul, help me at the beginning of this new day to offer my body and the whole of my life as a living sacrifice to God. Do not permit me to conform myself to this age but rather, by your intercession, may I be transformed by the renewal of my mind. Through this renewal help me to judge what is God’s will, what is good, pleasing, and perfect. For the one whom I seek and serve is Jesus Christ who is the Lord, now and forever. Amen.”

PRE-BAPTISMAL CLASS
The next Pre-Baptismal Class will take place on Saturday, July 5th at 9:30 am in the Sacristy Meeting Room. Parents are urged to schedule their class three or four months before the birth of their child. A baptismal class is required before an infant’s baptism can be scheduled. If planning to attend, please call the parish office at 834-4282 to schedule your attendance at this or any future class. (Classes are normally scheduled for the 1st Saturday of each month.)

CATHOLIC CHARITIES
Some of us are not up to celebrating this weekend. If you are experiencing confusion and conflict, you can turn to Catholic Charities. Programs include teen-focused treatment, and counseling. For more information, call (716) 856-4494, your neighborhood Catholic Charities, or go to www.ccwny.org.

AARP DRIVER SAFETY PROGRAM
Training session for insurance reduction certification will be held on Tuesday, September 16th from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm in Fr. Cotter Hall. Bring your own lunch. For further information and to register, contact Dick Patterson at 835-4584.
